Make a Gift
Alumni and friends of the Van Deelen-Drake lab in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are justifiably proud for many reasons. These reasons include our track record of meaningful research; creative, motivated students who go on to make important contributions to wildlife sciences; and innovative community outreach creating a connection between the public and the natural world.
As the home of Aldo Leopold, the father of wildlife ecology and wilderness systems, we are proud of our lab, our department, and our university, and we hope you are too! But as state and federal sources of support for the university shrink, private support plays an increasingly critical role in maintaining our level of excellence. Your gift, of any size, will help us continue to conduct world-class research and aid state agencies in making management decisions.
Gifts to the lab support things like:
-
- Outreach events
- Conference travel
- Lab and field equipment
- Distinguished lectures and other extracurricular learning opportunities
- Scholarships for outstanding students
- Summer research assistantships
When making a gift, please check if your employer matches donations. We are grateful for your support. Thank you for considering a gift to the Van Deelen-Drake lab! Please email Dr. Van Deelen
for more information.
